Every year, the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship’s Hollomon Health Innovation Challenge invites students to submit innovative ideas that will impact health and wellness for people around the globe. With the increasing availability of AI tools, many are discussing how these new technologies can be effectively and ethically implemented within the industry.
This prize will be awarded to the team with the most innovative application of an AI technology to improve healthcare access and delivery, physician workflows, and/or patient outcomes.

Projects implementing notable algorithms, mathematical theory, or aspects of theoretical computer science are eligible to join the Wolfram Alpha Computational Integration Track alongside any other tracks. Projects will be judged solely on the theory they use, and the winning teams will have ever member receive their own copy of the prize. Some examples of eligible projects are those that implement famous algorithms, use cryptographic theory, use machine learning algorithms, or use probabilistic computation.
